Well, I think there are at least two movies deserving this title. These are Terminator 4 and Transformers 2. What do you think?

You started this poll in the mid of this year. Now by the end of this year the title for movie of the year should go either to 2012 or Avatar. |

Just saw Avatar in 3D last night with the kids and I gotta say it was really cool. The overtly political message was a little too obvious and spoonfed for my taste, and the ending was way too cheesy-happy-typical-hollywood, but just on technical achievement alone it deserves mention.

I would have to say so far this year it's a tie for me between Star Trek and Watchmen.
